DMX Music Service Taps The M1 Agency For First Ad Efforts

Digital Music Express, a service that supplies programmed music to homes and businesses, has selected The M1 Agency as its first agency of record, without a review. Billings are estimated at $3-5 million, according to industry estimates.
The Santa Monica, Calif., shop will handle TV, print, collateral, in-store and business-to-business advertising for the Los Angeles- based client, which is a division of TCI, Inc.
DMX’s residential division supplies up to 30 channels of music programming over cable and satellite lines on over 850 cable systems in 49 states. The business division provides in-store music to over 500 independent franchisees and chain-store operators. –Teresa Buyikian
