Deutsch/LA CEO Mike Sheldon, who has been seeking a digital chief for a year, today poached a partner out of Crispin Porter + Bogusky.

Winston Binch, who was a partner and managing director of interactive at Crispin in Boulder, Colo., becomes chief digital officer at the Marina del Rey, Calif., office of Deutsch. He’ll be a partner at his new shop as well. He starts April 25.

About 190 of Deutsch/LA's total staff of 430 are digital specialists, and Binch will focus on leading them.
