About 1,700 people attended the May 26 event at Old Billingsgate in London. Two design entries won gold awards, known as black Pencils: in the graphic design category, a series of Royal Mail stamps by Johnson Banks in London that include stickers with eyes and other features; and a moving, interactive installation in the environmental design and architecture category called “Ship of Ideas,” created to promote tourism by Atelier Markgraph in Frankfurt, Germany.
