Toyota Motor Sales USA considers its RAV4 mini sport-utility to be a unique vehicle for individualists. So Toyota agency Saatchi & Saatchi Pacific chose a different way to advertise it: a TV spot with two different endings.
The 30-second spot, created by agency executive creative director Joe McDonagh, shows a colorful RAV4 looking for a parking spot. The vehicle is barred from one spot after another by signs that read, “employee of the month,” “suits only” and “parking for bean-counters only,” and then by a barking dog.
