Crunch Hires Interactive Services Exec

BOSTON Crunch Brand Communications said it has hired Dave Fox as director of interactive services.

Most recently, Fox served as a senior Web developer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. While there, Fox led the development of both the Dana-Farber and Jimmy Fund Web sites. He has also led interactive services at Boston-area shop Greco Ethridge Group.

“Today’s marketplace requires an in-depth knowledge of all digital and electronic marketing tools,” said Fox. “The companies that work with Crunch can utilize all avenues of interactive brand communications, which makes their integrated marketing efforts that much more powerful.”

Said Crunch managing partner Ted Schlueter: “The goal is to stay on the cutting-edge with the latest technologies and innovations that can solve our brand partner’s business and marketing challenges. Interactive is a vital channel in order to reach today’s demanding consumer. Dave brings this critical skill set to the table for Crunch.”

Crunch currently works with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Acoustics and Etonic, among others. The independent agency employs 12 staffers; Fox fills a new position.
