BOSTON Cronin & Co. proposes an alternative to bingo in its latest work for the Connecticut Lottery.
“Bingo Night,” a 30-second TV commercial breaking statewide next week, supports the sale of bingo-themed scratch tickets. A large bingo score sign, posted outside a VFW hall-cum-bingo parlor, is shown throughout the spot. Each time a car passes, the letters on the sign spell out a new message. The sign initially reads, “Bingo tomorrow night,” but quickly changes to: “Why wait” and “With Bingo scratch games from the CT Lottery … every day can be bingo night … even pot luck Wednesday.”
