Connelly Can’t Fake It for Stonyfield

BOSTON Connelly Partners/CGN is launching an estimated $5 million multimedia campaign for organic yogurt provider Stonyfield Farm, its first since winning the business last December.

The work introduces the line “You can’t fake this,” which replaces the previous tag, “Yogurt on a mission.” Print and radio have begun breaking in several markets nationwide. A TV component is in the final stages of production.

The independent Boston agency, helmed by president and ecd Steve Connelly, has been one of the most active midsize shops in New England in the past year. In addition to Stonyfield, the shop has also added work from Shaw’s Supermarkets and the Holmes Group’s Rival Kitchen Products in recent weeks. A major business-to-business print push for Polaroid was launched in February, close on the heels of a new TV campaign for Garelick Farms dairy.

Thanks to new-business gains and the acquisition of crosstown rival CGN Marketing & Creative Services, the shop grew more than 20 percent last year, posting revenue of $6.75 million on more than $50 million in billings.
