NEW YORK Circuit City on Thursday named contenders in the review for creative chores on its estimated $150 million broadcast ad account.

Competing are: The Richards Group in Dallas and Doner in Southfield, Mich., both independents; Interpublic Group’s McCann-Erickson in New York and its sibling The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va.; and Grey Global Group’s Grey Worldwide in New York, according to Hasan Ramusevic of Raleigh, N.C.-based Hasan + Co., the consultancy overseeing the search.
