CHICAGO Papa John’s International said that its chief marketing officer, Gary Langstaff, has left the company. Langstaff held the position for about just six months.

In a statement issued late Friday, Papa John’s said Langstaff, who joined the company in December, “is no longer affiliated with the company,” adding it had retained an executive recruiting firm to find a successor. Until then, Bill Van Epps, COO, will assume marketing duties, according to Louisville, Ky.-based Papa John’s.
