Clarity Coverdale Fury’s new director of business development said she is not concerned that the ongoing economic slump will prevent her from completing her appointed task of reeling in fresh clients.

“I firmly believe things are going to turn around quickly,” said Shelley Strohm, who joined the Minneapolis shop last week. “I think there’s an oppor tunity to go and talk to people who may be reluctant or hesitant.”

Strohm, 46, returns to the Twin Cities after a three-year stint as director of account management at Thomas & Perkins Advertising in Denver.
