Carat Wins RAC's $26 Mil. Media Account

DALLAS Rent-A-Center has awarded its estimated $26 million media account to Carat Americas following a review, the agency said.

Rent-A-Center, the nation’s largest chain of rent-to-own stores, is restructuring its $70 million account after parting ways with its current agency, Euro Retail in Dallas, part of the Euro RSCG network, earlier this month. (RAC’s creative work is estimated at $44 million.)

Razor Competitive Edge, a newly formed retail marketing management company, was named RAC’s lead advertising agency and managed the search for the media shop, a company executive said.
