Burger King Still Undecided

NEW YORK–As it begins to transition away from McCann-Erickson, Burger King said it is still deciding what to do with the adult advertising portion of its $400 million account.

Client representative Kim Miller confirmed that the client has entered into a relationship with Len Fink of Amoeba in Los Angeles. “We are exploring opportunities for Mr. Fink’s shop and Burger King to work together,” Miller said. “We’re tying to bring the best and the brightest minds together as we try to turn around this business. There have been no agency decisions beyond that.”

Campbell-Mithun of Minneapolis, Minn., handles the Miami-based client’s children’s advertising account. Other roster shops include Uniworld in New York, Bromley Communications in San Antonio, Texas. Mediavest handles media buying.
