Atkins/Lord & Lasker breaks its first national print campaign for Anheuser-Busch this month.

Contracted through the client’s corporate relations department, the assignment is an Hispanic community outreach program which draws attention to the brewer’s support of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and other Latino causes.

Atkins’ primary responsibility will be to develop logos and print work for the Budweiser Homerunazo and Budweiser Futbolazo programs in seven markets nationwide. Both programs link homeruns or goals scored by participating teams with an A-B corporate donation.

One ad displays a soccer ball and the tag, “A common goal.”

“We’re thrilled,” said Steve Atkins, chairman and chief executive officer of the San Antonio agency. “This new partnership will help us to further demonstrate our Hispanic marketing experience.”
