Brokaw Takes Lead for Cleveland Marathon

CHICAGO Brokaw was named agency for the new Moondog Marathon being held in Cleveland, an agency representative said.

Brokaw will develop and implement a national marketing and communications campaign to introduce the marathon, which will be held in May 2004. The Cleveland agency will create print ads to appear in running enthusiast magazines, the representative said. Further media details and a budget are still being developed.

Executive race director Ron Browne has had a long-standing relationship with Brokaw’s president and chief executive officer, Bill Brokaw. That relationship led to the assignment, the rep said.
