Bradshaw Tees Off For Scimitar

Former NFL star Terry Bradshaw is appearing in a new $1 million ad campaign for Scimitar Golf U.S.A., a startup custom golf club manufacturer.
Bradshaw, now a sports announcer, will endorse the Garden Grove, Calif.-based company in national TV and radio spots, print ads and infomercials. Radio spots are now airing in markets around the county, and an infomercial and three TV spots, all created by Scimitar’s in-house creative department, break on cable networks including ESPN this week. Power Marketing in Stockton, Calif., handles media buying.
“Terry is the perfect spokesperson for our golf clubs” in that he appeals to men in the 25-65 age group, said Jim Young, the client’s founder, president and chief executive.
