LINCOLN, NEB. – The Nebraska Department of Revenue last week announced it selected Bozell/Omaha to handle ‘advertising and related services’ for the new Nebraska Lottery, scheduled to kick off in September, 1993. Bozell secured a two-year contract with two one-year renewal options. The lottery will set aside 3% of sales for advertising. First year sales are projected at $30 million, which would target $900,000 for advertising. Bozell will receive a percentage of the advertising budget as its fee.
