Boone Advances at Digitas

Digitas has promoted Torrence Boone to managing director of its Chicago office. Boone replaces Reuben Hendell, who is returning to the New York office to oversee business development and manage client relationships in the region. Most recently, Boone, 34, led the global healthcare, pharmaceuticals and packaged-goods practices at Digitas in Boston, overseeing the Bayer, Millennium and Gillette accounts. He will continue in that capacity as well. Prior to joining Digitas in 2001, Boone was vice president, general manager of Seattle-based Avenue A, where he was responsible for the i-shop’s New York client services operation. Before his two-year stint at aQuantive’s Avenue A, he spent six years as a senior manager in the San Francisco and Boston offices of Bain & Co.
