BOSTON BigBad, an independently owned shop, said it has been hired by four colleges for a mix of online and offline marketing chores.

Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Mass., tapped Boston-based BigBad for a wide-ranging brand overhaul of its executive education program that includes print collateral design. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also in Cambridge, hired BigBad to revamp and implement a Web site redesign.

A pair of schools in Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Swarthmore College, engaged the shop for, respectively, an interactive campus map and content management consultation services.
