Bartle Bogle Hegarty picks up some Heineken business

British agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty continues to stockpile international assignments that may eventually spill over to U.S. shores.
Last week, BBH picked up a project from Heineken which the Amsterdam brewer described only as having “international scope.” Heineken said the BBH project doesn’t affect its current agency partners, which include Backer Spielvogel Bates in the Asia-Pacific region and J. Walter Thompson in Europe.
Should that stay as is, BBH could be asked to develop an umbrella campaign. Billings on the assignment are undisclosed, but JWT reportedly handles $50 million in Europe alone.
Warwick Baker Fiore handles Van Munching & Co., which distributes Heineken in the U.S. and supports it with some $10 million.
