A Band Apart Inks Little

Commercial director Jennifer Little has signed with A Band Apart in Los Angeles, the first U.S. representation for the native Canadian. She reports to managing director Jeff Armstrong. Little’s specialty of “real-life spots” emanates from her background as an actress who studied at the Ryerson Theatre School at the University of Toronto, working in production as a camera operator and assistant director, then eventually directing her first spot for Moule Designer Gifts (“The Big Tiff”) and agency Rethink, winning her a Bessie Award for direction. She’s since worked on spots for Ford (through Young & Rubicam, Vancouver) and the British Columbia Lotto (through TBWA\Vancouver), among others.
