Azzam Jordan Adds 3 Accounts

Azzam Jordan has signed Bill Bateman’s Bistro, White House/Black Market and the National Grand Prix of Washington, D.C., as clients.

The new ac-counts add $3 million in billings to the Baltimore shop.

Work for Bill Bateman’s Bistro, a chain of five restaurants in the Baltimore area, will include a radio campaign developed by the shop’s in-house facility, Bo Jingles. Spots will run on area stations WBAL, WJSK, WIYY.

“The account has also blossomed into collateral, outdoor and local print,” said agency vice president and creative director Matt Azzam.

White House/Black Market in Glen Burnie, Md., is the shop’s entree into the retail fashion category. The boutiques, which sell clothes in only black and white, are located throughout the U.S. and in the Caribbean. Duties will include print and point of sale with the theme, “For both sides of you.”

The grand prix race will debut at RFK Stadium in July 2002. Direct mail, radio and collateral are part of the assignment.

“We’re comfortable in the sports arena,” said Azzam, citing his agency’s experience with Baltimore Ravens Matt Stover, Ray Lewis and Tony Siragusa in ads for Pizza Hut’s Maryland co-op.
