Empower MediaMarketing has been awarded media buying and planning for Skylight Corp., which markets automated teller machines.
Skylight, headquartered in Atlanta, bills about $10 million a year. The company’s media business was previously handled in-house. Creative work remains in-house.
Empower won the account without a review because company executives liked the agency’s “big picture” approach to media marketing, said Joe Meyer, Skylight’s president and chief executive.
The account win comes just weeks after the Cincinnati-based media agency announced it was laying off 22 percent of its staff after Jergens moved its estimated $40 million business to TN Media.
