Ron Askew, CMO of Coors Brewing, is leaving the company on Dec. 14, a client rep confirmed. “It was Ron’s decision,” the rep said. Askew, who could not be reached, joined the $180 million advertiser in 2001 from Omnicom’s Integer Group. Among his major moves were adding IPG’s Deutsch and Havas’ Arnold to the roster to join Coors’ longtime agency, IPG’s Foote Cone & Belding. (Arnold was later dropped.)
