Arnold Names New Planning Exec

Arnold has tapped Graceann Bennett for the position of evp/director of planning.

Bennett joins Arnold, a unit of Havas Advertising from Mullen, Wenham, Mass., where she had been associate director of brand planning. At Arnold, Bennett, who was also an SVP at Mullen, will head a 30 person department.

“It took nearly a year and interviews with over 20 highly qualified candidates until we found Graceann,” said Fran Kelly, president of Arnold. She was hired following a lengthy search, and she succeeds Kristin Volk, who left Arnold last year to help launch Deutsch’s short-lived Boston office. That office closed down earlier this month.

From the agency’s headquarters in Boston, Bennett will direct planning for all Arnold offices.
