BOSTON Argus has launched its first statewide ad campaign for Simmons College.

Outdoor, transit and print media are in the mix and two taglines are employed. “Majoring in life” graces ads aimed at undergraduates, while “Learning with purpose” closes ads that target graduate students.

The ads attempt to use bold art direction and thought-provoking headlines to convey the scope of a Simmons education for students who want to achieve successful careers and lead meaningful lives.

“Simmons vp for marketing Maria LaTour Kadison gave Argus the opportunity to be fully creative, bold and nontraditional in crafting the campaign,” said Zamawa Arenas, a partner at Boston-based Argus, a 10-person independent shop.
