CHICAGO Anheuser-Busch has extended its sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic Team through the 2008 games.

As “official beer sponsor,” the St. Louis brewery will use the five-ring Olympic logo in Team USA-related marketing for the 2006 winter games in Torino, Italy; the 2008 summer games in Beijing, China; and the 2005 and 2007 Pan-American Games. A-B is already the official beer sponsor for the 2004 summer games in Athens.

The company will also be the exclusive malt-beverage advertiser on the telecasts of all those games on NBC and its related networks.
