Amazon To Promote Larkspur Ferry In San Francisco

Amazon Advertising last week was awarded an assignment from the Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District to promote the Larkspur Ferry service between San Francisco and Marin County.
Amazon is the first agency employed by the bridge district in more than 15 years. The shop won the account following a quiet review of local agencies. “Amazon really did their homework,” said Linda Mitchell, the district’s marketing director. “Their ideas were on target, and they had an impressive portfolio.”
The agency will create print, TV, radio, outdoor and direct mail advertising for the client. Ads will specifically promote next month’s launch of a new Fast Ferry catamaran service and expanded late-night Larkspur Ferry schedule. –Jane Irene Kelly
