After four years of producing reality TV shows with no apparent regard for viewer IQs, networks in 2005 struck a more serious tone for the genre. Reality TV has become a staple on fall lineups, and shows like The Apprentice and Survivor are still hits. At least we’ve evolved from The Littlest Groom (Fox’s low point in 2004) to do-gooder shows like Three Wishes (below), which debuted this year on NBC with Christian singer Amy Grant hosting.
