In 1980, Jack Keil, then a creative director at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample in New York, gave voice to McGruff the Crime Dog, who urged people to “Take a bite out of crime.” Twenty-five years later, Keil, retired, is still the voice of McGruff, who stars in three 25th anniversary radio spots by Saatchi & Saatchi (which bought DFS in 1986) in New York.
