The 10 Most Watched Ads on YouTube in October

People love their new-product videos. They're a regular staple on Adweek and Google's monthly YouTube Ads Leaderboard, ranking the most viewed brand spots on the video site. And Google, Microsoft, Apple and GoPro placed four such spots in the top five for October.

Game maker Supercell is also a regular brand on the list, and put two Clash Royale games on the list last month—for spots actually released in August and September, but which continued to get high view counts in October.

Elsewhere, BMW made the list with its new BMW Films piece, coming a decade and a half after the original groundbreaking series aired.

And there were two political ads on the list—one from Gerald Daugherty, whom you might remember from this story, and one from none other than America's new president-elect.

See all 10 spots below.

Note: To be eligible for Adweek and Google's YouTube Ads Leaderboard, videos must be marked as ads on YouTube (i.e., they get some paid views) but must also earn significant organic views. The algorithm factors in paid views, organic views and audience retention (how much of a video people watched).
