The 10 Most Viral Holiday Ads of 2016

We're 10 days out from Christmas now, and Unruly has some numbers on which holiday spots really got people in the spirit this year.

Not surprisingly, Britain fared well. The country produced seven of the 10 ads on this list, while Germany added two and Poland one. But one of the ads made in the U.K., the Amazon spot by Joint of London, has also been getting a lot of airplay in the U.S. (That spot is also airing in the U.K. and Germany.)

In the end, we had a landslide winner, with the top spot getting almost four times as many shares as the No. 2 spot.

Check out the top 10 below. It's also worth noting that the H&M spot, which clocks in at No. 9 here, was Adweek's pick for the year's best holiday ad—and one of the 10 best of the year.

Note: The Unruly data was collated on Dec. 14 and includes shares of official YouTube and Facebook videos. Shares include Facebook responses, comments and likes.
