IPG-owned Minneapolis agency Carmichael Lynch hired Milton Un as design director, tasking him with overseeing design and various creative projects at the agency.
Un joins Carmichael Lynch from Fallon, where he has served as design lead since October 2015 and previously spent a little over a year as a design director for Target. He also held designer and art director roles at Minneapolis agencies including mono and Olson. A Minneapolis College of Art and Design grad, Un has also worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for brands including Apple, Nike, Adidas and Red Bull.

He has a strong point of view, he’s a natural leader, he has incredible experience and he’s a damn nice person,” Carmichael Lynch CCO Marty Senn said in a statement. “Carmichael Lynch has experienced incredible growth recently, and Milton will continue to push and evolve our design and creative innovations and opportunities.”
Un’s arrival at Carmichael Lynch follows the promotion of Marcus Fischer to CEO in March, as well as the arrival of chief strategy officer Lachlan Badenoch last October. The agency also named Senn and Carmichael Lynch Relate president Julie Batliner as its fourth and fifth managing partners last August.
