Adweek Together: How to Keep D&I Front and Center During Coronavirus

Striving to keep workplace initiatives like diversity and inclusion top of mind

Headshot of Chris Ariens

The U.S. economy had a lot going for it even six weeks ago. But since the rapid rise in COVID-19 infections, and the measures in place to slow the spread, the economy has nearly ground to a halt. In a strong economy, some workplace initiatives that companies work so hard to make front and center will now take a back seat, temporarily, at least.

One of those initiatives is diversity and inclusion. This week’s issue of Adweek is devoted to the 18 Champions of the brand marketing ecosystem who are paving the way for the next generation of inclusive leadership.

On today’s episode, executive editor Stephanie Paterik talks with Omnicom Group’s chief diversity officer Tiffany R. Warren, founder of ADCOLOR, which champions diversity in the profession.

Adweek Together is a daily live discussion, at noonET, hosted by our editors along with the leaders of the companies we cover, seeking guidance, solutions and information—together. For inquiries and feedback email us at adweektogether@adweek.com.

Don't miss the Disability Inclusion Summit, a live virtual summit on Sept. 30. Hear from leaders with disabilities on how we can better welcome, involve, and advance people with disabilities. Register now.
