Wrigley Suspends Brown From Ads

NEW YORK Wrigley has suspended R&B star Chris Brown from appearing as its spokesman and starring in ad campaigns for Doublemint gum.

Brown sang about the “Double your pleasure, double your fun” brand by reworking it into his hit song “Forever” last summer, which doubled as a jingle. Brown also sang and danced in the ad. While the gum brand hasn’t officially fired Brown, the star and his campaign are being suspended “until the matter is resolved,” per the company.
