Conn. DPUC Advises: 'Wait 'til 8'

BOSTON Mintz & Hoke has unveiled its first work for the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control, which works with the Energy Conservation Management Board on statewide programs to promote energy efficiency.

Mintz, an independent shop in Avon, Conn., has fashioned a print-based push designed to convince Nutmeg State residents to “Wait ’til 8” before using major appliances.

One ad takes the form of a movie poster with an eerily-lit dishwasher and the the headline: “Appliance Theatre Presents: Wait Until Dark.”
