Clay Matthews, Odell Beckham Jr. Work Out With Sasquatch Once Again for Jack Link's

After last year's "Workin' Out with Sasquatch" ads for Jack Link's beef jerky, NFL stars Odell Beckham Jr. and Clay Matthews were hungry for more. The New York Giants wide receiver and Green Bay Packers linebacker make a return in the latest in the campaign from Carmichael Lynch, joined by brand ambassador Sasquatch, of course. Following last year's ads, Carmichael Lynch launched a branded content extension with Inside the NBA that went on to be named to Adweek's 2017 Media Plan of the Year list. A pair of new spots combine the approach of last year's "Workin' Out with Sasquatch" ads with the goofy faux-science of this past summer's "Versus" effort. "Edge," for example, which features both Matthews and Beckham, explains how the protein content in Jack Link's jerky can give athletes an edge via a comparison with "new technology" and "using your brain muscles to visualize success." "Muscles," meanwhile, sees Matthews "drop some wisdom on how muscle-making works," complete with an absurd visualization. [kickout id="1"] The ads debuted on broadcast and digital yesterday, in 30- and 15-second versions. The campaign also includes a series of further 15-second spots. Broadcast spots will run on networks including ESPN, TNT, MTV, FX and NFL Network.
