For Richards Group account director Chris Smith, competing on the Jeopardy quiz show was a lifelong ambition. “For some kids, growing up was about watching football on TV. In our family, it was Jeopardy,” he said. So when Smith, 33, earned a spot on the show earlier this month, he made the most of it, taking home $43,199. Smith, who is group creative head in charge of the Motel 6 account, is constantly facing challenges from co-workers who think they’ve got something he doesn’t know.
