BOSTON Luxottica Retail today said it has advanced three agencies to the final round of the review for its U.S. media account.

They are: Interpublic Group’s Universal McCann and Omnicom Group’s PHD, both in New York, and Publicis Groupe’s Starcom in Chicago, the client said.

Out of the running are WPP Group’s Mindshare in Chicago, IPG’s Initiative in New York and Havas-owned Media Planning Group, which pursued the business from its offices in New York and Boston.
