About 150 former Benton & Bowles staffers gathered at La Maganette in midtown Manhattan last Monday for their fourth (fourth!) annual reunion. Jack Bowen, the former chairman and CEO of the agency that became D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and then was subsumed by Publicis in 2002, addressed the group. He reminisced about the days of yore and “the happy times at B&B and how we all loved to come to work every day.” He continued, “We were unique because we put our people first.”
