DDB Taps McCann Exec as Global CMO

NEW YORK DDB worldwide CEO Ken Kaess has hired veteran McCann Erickson executive Lori Senecal to become chief marketing officer, a new global post, the shop said today.

Senecal, 40, will handle the overall marketing of DDB, including new business efforts, and ensure that clients get all the services they need, according to the agency. She starts Nov. 1 and will report to Kaess.

“Both entrepreneurial and passionate, she already has the DDB DNA and I am looking forward to working with her,” said Kaess, in a statement.
