SAN FRANCISCO Advanced Micro Devices has selected four agencies to compete in the review for its estimated $40 million U.S. ad account, sources said.

In contention are three WPP Group shops—Young & Rubicam in San Francisco, JWT in Los Angeles and Grey in New York—as well as Interpublic Group’s Foote Cone & Belding in San Francisco, sources said. (Y&R is pitching with sister shop SicolaMartin in Austin, Texas, which already works for AMD.)
