Deutsch Spoofs Itself
Just in time for Advertising Week, Deutsch has come up with a self-promoting spoof of the creative process. At www.theadconceptor.com, viewers can choose a client category (like “fast food”), a style (“emotional” or “edgy”) and a demographic. Then video of creatives pitching an idea appears. For example, an edgy fast-food ad could include a big dance number. Creatives in the videos are a mix of actors and actual Deutsch creatives, including copywriter Josh Greenspan, who contributed.
