CP+B Trashes the Gap

Crispin Porter + Bogusky’s first spot for San Francisco-based Gap is a disaster. Literally, as the cinema ad depicts shoppers and employees tearing a Gap store apart. Directed by MJZ’s Spike Jonze, mayhem begins innocently enough when a man accidently drops a pair of pants he’s holding. But things escalate—people knock over mannequins and tear apart displays—until a woman drives her car into the store. Copy reads, “Pardon our dust, the all-new Gap is coming.”
