BOSTON Ed Gillespie has joined independent marketing agency VogtGoldstein as executive vice president and account director, a new position, the shop said.
Gillespie, 42, will oversee various accounts as well as new business development.
Prior to joining VogtGoldstein, Gillespie was a co-founder and evp at FSA Communications in Stamford, Conn., a direct marketing unit of Omnicom Group. In the course of his 20-year career, he has also held senior posts at Pitney Bowes and Burrell/DFA Advertising.
