LOS ANGELES Andrew House, the marketing chief at Sony Computer Entertainment America, is rising to a senior marketing post at parent Sony Corp. under CEO Howard Stringer, sources said.

Both House and a Sony representative declined comment. It was not immediately clear who would succeed House at Sony Computer, where he is an executive vice president. (He is expected to be named to his new job before month’s end.)

House joined Sony in 1988 and assumed his current duties, which include brand management and marketing oversight of the PlayStation and PSP platforms, in 2002.
