Cox Promotes Ruth to Marketing VP

ATLANTA Debby Ruth has been named vice president of marketing for Cox Enterprises here, replacing John Williams, who retired in April after 25 years with the company.

Ruth, 43, will be responsible for developing and implementing all new sales and marketing programs, consulting services, sales promotion and event marketing for the company. She will report to Sandy Schwartz, vice president of business development.

Cox Enterprises is a privately owned company with revenue last year of $11.6 billion.
