CHICAGO Wal-Mart promotes its new “Acres for America” program, in which the retailer will contribute $35 million for wildlife preservation over the next 10 years in a new television spot from independent agency Bernstein-Rein.
The spot from the Kansas City, Mo., shop shows John Berry, executive director of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, introducing the program amid shots of nature and wildlife. “Wal-Mart is the first company to tie its footprint to land conservation,” Berry says.
