DGA Names Outstanding Director Nominees

NEW YORK The Directors Guild of America said it has nominated five candidates for Outstanding Commercial Director.

MJZ’s Dante Ariola and Biscuit Filmworks’ Noam Murro were both nominated for the third time. First-time nominated directors were Anonymous Content’s Andrew Douglas, Hungry Man’s Jim Jenkins and MJZ’s Fredrik Bond.

Ariola was nominated for “Circus,” for Stella Artois by Lowe in London; “Urban Legend,” for Levi’s by Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York; and “Money Tree,” for Barclay’s by BBH in London.
