McKinney + Silver held an open house at its new offices in Durham, N.C., Oct. 28 to celebrate its 35th year in business. The event featured Benjamin Zander, music director of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, who gave a motivational speech about the “Art of Possibility” to the more than 160 employees and invited guests. James Surowiecki, financial columnist for The New Yorker, spoke about his new book, “The Wisdom of Crowds,” and cellist Matt Haimovitz performed.
