NEW YORK DoubleClick has integrated streaming video into its 15-month-old rich-media advertising product, DART Motif.

Called Motif Streaming Video, the new feature supports up to two megabytes of streaming media, automatically detects bandwidth and adjusts accordingly, and delivers video directly to the user’s browser without caching.

Unveiled in July 2003, DART Motif combines DoubleClick’s DART advertising management and serving platform with Macromedia’s Flash MX software. It is meant to aid advertisers, agencies and publishers in creating, trafficking and reporting on rich-media ads.
